The Resolve PRP Program

Resolve’s Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program is a recognized leader in supporting individuals with employment, recovery education, wellness, and supported housing. Our program is licensed by the Maryland Department of Health, Mental Health & Hygiene Office of Healthcare Quality.

We assist adults with achieving their mental rehabilitation and recovery goals. Our approach to rehabilitation coordination brings together critical components of the recovery process, including: medical and psychiatric support, family, friends, residential and community life skills training, and vocational services.

  • Resolve’s PRP services include:
  • Initial assessment by Director
  • One-on-One Encounters
  • Group Discussions
  • Independent Living & Community Living Training
  • Illness Management & Medical Education
  • Personal Finance Training
  • Self-Care Training

Resolve offers three program options:

Resolve Center Day Program. Located in Lanham, MD, Resolve’s Day Program offers a community atmosphere that helps clients reach their recovery goals through one-on-one and group sessions, life skills training, socialization and recreational activities. On average, 15-20 clients participate on a daily basis. For clients who request it, transportation is provided free of charge to and from the Resolve center.

Home-Based Services. Our Mental Health Associates deliver PRP services in clients’ homes or any other community location appropriate for their needs. Services include medication monitoring and education, life skills training, home maintenance (i.e. homecare, shopping,
budgeting), public transportation training, and how to access community resources.

In-House PRP Services for Medical Facilities. Resolves in-house PRP services enable medical facilities to deliver treatment plans that help keep patients on the path to recovery. As such, we collaborate closely with healthcare providers who want to help patients manage the challenges of mental illness and behavioral disorders while receiving care in short and long-term medical and rehabilitation facilities.

Our PRP services are not a replacement for psychiatric care. Instead, they are supplemental mental health services designed to aid in the recovery process. As such, PRP services are coded and billed separately from psychiatric services.
